What are Skills Bootcamps?

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer.

The training is funded through the Department of Education's, National Skills Fund and forms part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping everyone gain Skills for Life.

  • Individuals aged 19 and over.
  • Those looking to change sectors or progress in their current industry.
  • People seeking to improve job security and achieve higher wages over time.
  • Learners wanting to build sector-specific skills.
  • Those needing flexible training options to fit around existing commitments.
  • Individuals who are employed, unemployed, recently graduated, or planning to re-enter the workforce.
