Transparency is at the core of the Mayoral Combined Authority’s operations.
The 2017 devolution deal brought £900 million of new investment funding into the region. Since then, the West of England has secured over £1.15 billion of new funding due to its Combined Authority.
The Combined Authority has a transparent approach concerning its spending on regional services and how this is funded. We publish details of expenditure over £500 on a quarterly basis.
We also publish audited Statements of Accounts on an annual basis. These provide a detailed report of each year’s financial activity and performance.
In the interest of openness and transparency in public spending, the Combined Authority publishes details of expenditure over £500 on a quarterly basis. The information is published in three formats. We also publish budget information for the Combined Authority and Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
