The £1m Pollinator Fund builds on from the Combined Authority’s ‘Bee Bold Awards’ and will help to deliver on the West of England’s objective to increase the abundance of wildlife by 30% by 2030.
The Fund has been created to support community-led ecology projects that enhance biodiversity and pollinator habitats across the West of England region.

The first funding round for applications is now open. We are inviting organisations and community groups to submit applications by 5pm on 18th Sept.
We are seeking applications for proposals for medium to large projects located in the region seeking between £10k - £100k. A funding call for smaller projects will be launched this October open and our intention is to run additional funding rounds over the course of 2023-2025.
The amount of funding allocated per round will depend on the scale, scope and quality of applications received.
