The Combined Authority commissioned a Bristol & Bath FinTech strategy with a focus on jobs and training, net zero and increased global profile. What we do
Digital Engineering, Technology and Innovation (DETI): Research, innovation and skills programme supporting the digitalisation of design and manufacturing processes to develop sustainable products.
Pilot project testing innovative energy-saving improvements in homes.
Growing the region’s space sector to enable new technologies that address social and environmental challenges.
The Green Futures Fund (GFF) will test innovative approaches to delivery of school careers activity and curriculum that align with the regional 'green' skills agenda.
Green skills
Green Skills encompass the expertise that we need to develop and support a sustainable society. We know to meet our net zero target, we'll need to make sure our region has the right skills and knowledge to take advantage of emerging technologies. We're supporting residents and businesses to access training and support to develop new skills.
