Digital Connectivity Infrastructure Accelerator (DCIA)

Welcome to the West of England Combined Authority’s DCMS DCIA

Here you will find the application form for platform providers along with guidance on completing and submitting your application.

Digital Connectivity Infrastructure Accelerator (DCIA) overview

The Digital Connectivity Infrastructure Accelerator (DCIA) Pilot is an open competition, run by DCMS from HM Treasury’s Shared Outcomes Fund and supported by DfT. DCIA will allocate up to £4 million of funding to pilots which support the implementation of digital asset management solutions for mapping and brokerage of publicly owned assets for use in the rollout of wireless communication networks.

More information about DCIA can be found by visiting gov.uk.

The Combined Authority is running an open grant process to select a platform provider to include in our proposed DCIA bid to DCMS. We will bring together the four constituent Local Authorities that make up the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership. These are the unitary councils of Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol City, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. We may approach other public sector entities as the project develops. These authorities will be committed to providing the necessary asset detail needed to populate the platform.
