Energy Advice Line – support to keep your house warm
Are you struggling to keep your house warm, or pay your energy bills?
If so, the West of England Energy Advice Line is here to help. The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority has funded CSE and Severn Wye, in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council, to offer free and impartial advice.
The service provides free, expert, and trusted advice which can help you to:
- Get funding and grants to make your home warmer
- Save money on your gas, electricity, or water bills
- Help if you owe money to your supplier
- Make your cold, damp, or draughty home warmer and healthier
- Fix or upgrade your heating system.
This service is available to people who live within the West of England Combined Authority region, namely Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire Local Authority areas.

If you live in South Gloucestershire
If you live in South Gloucestershire and want support, Severn Wye deliver this service.
Why are we investing in Energy Advice?
The climate, nature, and cost of living emergencies are key priorities for the West of England Combined Authority.
We are investing £60 million as part of the Green Recovery Fund to help the region reduce energy bills, reduce carbon emissions, and protect biodiversity, as set out in the Climate & Ecological Strategy & Action Plan.
