What is Phoenix West?

Phoenix West is the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority’s rapid redundancy response scheme. It is triggered when regional redundancies are likely.

A Phoenix West response means the helpline goes live for affected residents, and an expert group of the Mayoral Combined Authority, employers, unions, local councils, government departments, and education and training providers convene to target support.
