The Green Futures Project will support schools to align their careers activity and curriculum with the regional 'green' skills agenda. The funding will build on the three pilot projects that tested the very best approaches and practice to ensure young people are able to access future opportunities in ‘green’ jobs.
This new £300k programme is a key part of the West of England Combined Authority’s Climate Emergency Action Plan and follows on from recommendations made in the West of England Combined Authority Green Skills Reports.
