Work experience for teachers

A national programme initiated by the Careers and Enterprise Company and managed locally by the Careers Hub. The programme offers educators a wide range of experiences designed to provide insight into the modern world of work and businesses.

The initiative aims to facilitate workplace visits across key local industries, broadening teachers’ understanding of employment pathways and enriching the curriculum through collaboratively developed resources and insights. The long-term goal is to foster enduring, sustainable partnerships between schools and employers.

Sectors covered include: Creative and Cultural, Engineering, Digital, Finance, Armed services, Advanced Manufacturing, Green and Sustainable industries.
