Volunteer with us

We are on the lookout for working professionals to add to our team of committed Enterprise Advisers.

This voluntary role is important for the Careers Hub, helping to bridge the gap between the world of work and education to better prepare young people for what comes next.

Working life is ever-changing, so we need people who have up to date knowledge and experience to create better careers services and support pathways into industry.

The role of an Enterprise Adviser

As an Enterprise Adviser you are part of a national and local network who:

  • Support the school or college's senior leadership team to develop and evaluate their careers plan
  • Provide a valuable employer's perspective on how a school or college can embed labour market information and opportunities into careers services
  • Network with relevant employers or businesses to put a wide variety of careers opportunities at the heart of young people's education

For detailed information on what the role involves, visit the Careers and Enterprise Company.
