The next meeting of the West of England Combined Authority Committee and the West of England Joint Committee will take place at Bristol City Hall Council Chamber on Friday 15 October at 10.30am.
The meeting will be chaired by Metro Mayor, Dan Norris, and attended by Bath & North East Somerset Council Leader, Cllr Kevin Guy; Bristol Council Mayor, Marvin Rees, and South Gloucestershire Council Leader, Cllr Toby Savage. The Chair of the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Richard Bonner, will also attend.
The Committee meeting will be held jointly with a meeting of the West of England Joint Committee, the decision-making body for issues relating to the West of England Combined Authority, Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire councils, and the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership. Cllr Don Davies, Leader of North Somerset Council will join the discussions on Joint Committee items.
Members of the public can present submitted statements at the meeting but due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, it may be necessary to limit the number of people who can attend. Up to 30 minutes will be available for statements.
The meeting won’t be live-streamed but will be available to view afterwards on the West of England Combined Authority’s YouTube channel.
The Combined Authority’s Overview & Scrutiny Committee will meet in advance of the committees on Monday 11 October at 1pm at The Guildhall, Bath.
