Forming part of the Nature and Business Resources Kit, this module explores the business case for nature and the different business drivers.
All businesses – including those without outside space or even premises – rely on nature. This could include the materials in your office, or in the products that you create. Even if you run your business from a single laptop, there are impacts on habitats around the world; from the metals inside it, to how you choose to recycle or dispose of it.

The Nature and Business Resources Kit specifically explores the impact we have through finances, supply chains, employees and brand. In Autumn 2024 the Mayoral Combined Authority will release a second set of resources, which help businesses to use land, buildings or outdoor space to support our region’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
Our resources are based on the “triangle framework” which shows potential business drivers for taking action for biodiversity.
