Turtle Tots is a swimming programme that offers aqua-natal yoga and lessons for babies and toddlers with over 50 franchisees across the UK and Ireland.

When lockdown closed all the UK’s swimming pools, business founder Caroline Sparks knew that she would have to adapt Turtle Tots to survive.

Caroline got in touch with the Growth Hub team to find out what help was available to protect and support her business.  The Growth Hub enterprise executive worked with Caroline to identify ways that she could develop the value of the business by improving their online presence and growing their intellectual property.

Turtle Tots co-founder Caroline said: “That support was really invaluable as we were lockdown down with very little to do until we knew when swimming pools would be open again. So, it was a great opportunity to spend time on those areas of the business that we wouldn’t necessarily have spent time on while we were fully immersed in the day to day swimming business.”

With the support of the Growth Hub’s Trading Better Online programme, Turtle Tots invested in their website and social media presence. They also drew on the Growth Hub’s expertise to protect and grow their intellectual property.
