TEKTowr Ltd is an innovative Bath-based engineering solutions company specialising in 3D visualisation and augmented reality software. The company brings to market new, innovative products and services within safety-critical, security-critical software environments.

TEKTowr used its Business Growth Grant to purchase special holographic-glasses to enable businesses from across the world to get together remotely and share their plans.

The impact

As a result of the Business Growth Grant, TEKTowr Ltd has expanded, developed its SinTwin augmented-reality collaborative space software and showcased it at major conferences using the holograph-glasses.

The company has also been accepted onto the Future of Air Mobility Accelerator (FOAM) programme working with Aberdeen, Glasgow, Southampton, Coventry and Heathrow airports.

Simon Brown, CEO of TEKTowr said: “The Business Growth Grant helped us to launch our product to the aviation market in style. We’ve been able to give people a glimpse of the future showcasing our software using the Hololenses. We’ve secured additional major clients and we’re now working with the other innovators and industrial partners to build commercial products and services that fulfil market needs for building the future, together.”
