Qaisar is a self-employed taxi driver who due to the pandemic was not able to work for just over a year.
Qaisar said “I was not able to earn, and I really struggled to manage my household finances. I needed to learn a new skill/change career to be able to support my family. I realised that I could not rely on taxi work and needed to forge a path for myself”.
He found out about Future Bright through an advert on Instagram and was paired with career progression coach Susannah, Qaisar said “Susannah was fantastic, she supported me and helped me to be able to start on this new journey. She provided me with that motivation and the accountability that I needed to move on to this new path”. His coach supported his vision and encouraged him to enroll on a Level 2 Electricians course and plans to qualify as an Electrician.
The impact of the actions he has taken are great, “I will be working towards a new career and I will be able to support my family. My wellbeing has improved, and I feel like I have a purpose”. Qaisar would say to anyone thinking of joining Future Bright “Do it!! It will change your life!!”
